Camping and the outdoors has always been an integral part of the Scouting program. In 1907, Lord Baden-Powell's first Scouting activity was a campout on Brownsea Island in England. Since 1910, millions of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers have taken to the hills, woods, and rivers of America and the great outdoor classroom where Scouting comes alive.

Great Lakes Council is fortunate to have FOUR outstanding camping properties available for year round use.

Each has a wide variety of facilities ranging from heated cabins to wilderness outpost sites. Be sure to visit each of our camps and take advantage of the unique programs available to the Scouts.
