Canoeing Trips - Rifle River Trek

Scouts wishing to take a 1-day trip down the Rifle River will enjoy the Rifle River Trek. Starting upstream, canoeists will take approximately five hours to paddle down to the Base. This trip is only available on Saturdays. The fee is $14.00 per canoe and includes: paddles, personal flotation devices, and transportation of canoes. Transportation of individuals is the responsibility of the unit.

Older Scouts may wish to take the challenge of 2-Day Rifle River Trek Trip. The 2-day trip starts at the North Landing trip on Saturday, but Scouts camp at Cole Canoe Base and continue down the river on Sunday to M-70 Bridge. The fee for this adventure is $25.00 per canoe and includes: canoes, paddles, personal flotation devices, and transportation of canoes to the North Landing and return to Cole Canoe Base on Sunday. Transportation of the canoeist is the responsibility of the unit.

Reservations

Reservations for both the Rifle River Trips (1-day trip & 2-day trip) can be made online when you are making your weekend reservation. You will need to the amount of canoes (people) taking either trip at the time of reservation. The number can be adjusted at any time prior to your trip.
