A.B.L.E. Training

ABLE TrainingRegisterA unique training opportunity designed to pick up where the basic Outdoor Leader Skills training leaves off!

If you are a Scoutmaster, assistant Scoutmaster, Venturing crew Advisor, associate Advisor, or High Adventure Coordinator, who has completed Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills Training and loves the great outdoors – A.B.L.E. is the next great step in your training:

The ADVANCED BACKCOUNTRY LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE!

A.B.L.E. training is the Great Lakes Council training conference  where Scout leaders come to learn the more advanced, high end outdoor skills. This is the training you need to build confidence in your ability to succeed in developing High Adventures for your unit. It is also some of the most fun you can have in outdoor skills training!

You’ve learned basic skills at OLS – now you are ready to build the confidence in skills needed for the real backcountry!  Whether leading a contingent on that big Philmont High Adventure, or a small patrol on a deep woods weekend hike, you and your unit will be glad you were ABLE!
