As Honorary Chairman, it is my distinct pleasure to invite you to join me on Monday, July 25, 2011, for one of Detroit area’s premier charity golf events – The Boy Scouts Pro-Am Golf Classic to be held at the Oakland University Golf featuring two of the finest 18 hole courses in America; the R & S Sharf and the Katke-Cousins which provide the perfect venues.

The Great Lakes Council has been serving youth in southeastern Michigan with character-building and life-skills programs for the past 101 years with 24,163 youth earning the rank of Eagle Scout, Scouting’s highest achievement.  Your participation in this fabulous day of golf, great food, fellowship and networking will support the many scouting programs that enrich the lives of over 26,000 youth being served by over 10,000 adult volunteers throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
