Cub Scout Shooting Sports Training

 

• Training that certifies adult leaders to instruct shooting sports skills to Cub Scouts (Both archery and BB gun shooting included).

• BSA Cub Scout Range Officer Certification required when using Cub Scout Archery and BB Gun Ranges at Camp Agawam with pack-provided range officers (reservation required).

• Open opportunities to offer your Scouts fun and adventure through skill development, discipline, self-reliance, sportsmanship, and conversation.

• Many rewarding volunteer opportunities to assist with shooting sports programs at any of the council camping programs (Day Camp, Cub Scout Summer Camp, Family Camps, Archery League, and BB Gun League or weekend camp at Camp Agawan and D-bar-A).

Note: Cub Scout Archery and BB gun shooting activities are restricted to Great Lakes Council camp properties.  A current BSA Certified Cub Scout Range Officer is mandatory to use the range facilities (units may be required to provide their own certified range officer at Camp Agawam).  The Cub Scout Range Officer certification expires two years from the training date.

 

Cost	$10.00 and a commitment to work 2 days at one or more of the following: Council Programs:  Day Camp, Cub Scout Summer Camp, Archery League, BB Gun League, Family Camps or weekend camp at Camp Agawan/D-bar-A.
