Edward N. Cole Canoe Base, an outstanding Great Lakes Council camp. Cole Canoe Base offers medium to high adventure river canoeing programs as well as a superb, traditional in camp program. Each of our programs are individually tailored to meet the requirements and expectations of each unit attending summer camp at Cole Canoe Base. You and your Scouts plan your week; We make it happen.

Cole Canoe Base is ideally suited for the newest Scouts, or Webelos-turning-Scouts, as well as the older Scouts in your unit. New troops, as well as experienced troops, will delight in the many and varied programs available at Cole Canoe Base.

The Cole summer program has several parts: The traditional summer camp program provided by all scout camps around the country that includes merit badges, nightly program opportunities, first year camper experience, and other age appropriate activities to keep all age levels of scouts and scouters interested in the scouting movement. Provisional: For those Scouts who are unable to attend with their troop. High Adventure: For those older Scouts who seek a rigorous summer camp experience.
